Martín Gambarotta is a renowned spokesperson for the Argentinian poets of the nineties. For a number of years he edited the independent website poesia.com, and he regularly writes political columns for the Buenos Aires Herald. His aim is always to provide a good performance but never at the expense of poetic content. In his poetry he manages to highlight the matters that do not come to light in political forums. He employs different voices so that through distortion and friction he is able to arrive at a new reality in which underlying events and revelations play a part. His best-known collections are Punctum (1996), Seudo (2000), Relapso + Angola (2005) and Para Un Plan Primavera (2011). His poems have been translated into English, Dutch, German and Norwegian.
