Tswarelo Mothobe (a.k.a. Tswa) says, “I believe poetry is what we feel and what we think, and thus, I believe that each one of us is a poet in one way or another and . . . to realise a means of expressing ourelves”.

He continues, “My yearning for an existence better than that which we have invokes the poet in me. My belief is rooted in the idea that change towards the better begins within the self, and so through my words, I challenge myself towards positive growth in terms of tolerance, respect, definition beginning first with myself”.
