Armando Romero was active in the Colombian avantgarde movement El nadaismo during the 1960’s. He has traveled extensively throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. He lives in Cincinnati, where he is a Charles Phelps Taft Professor in Latin American literature at the University of Cincinnati.
