There was a lump
in the landscape

tho it had no throat
it spoke to those who

got on their knees
to listen to it

a titmouse
landed & instantly

vomited on it
blowflies

swarmed in &
stuck to it

some thought it was a
hidden camera

& therefore wept
all over it

in this way it
came to be a mound
